Clovis is the capital of the High Plains when it comes to great family activities and events.

Clovis is home to the second largest zoo in the state, and our rich rock ‘n’ roll history, museums and a variety of fun, family-friendly events each year attract people from all over the world. Since 1987, Clovis’ Draggin’ Main Music Festival features concerts from some of the greatest musicians of all time, in addition to a week-long schedule of car shows and tours of classic drive-ins celebrating the nostalgic history of rock and roll and cruising down Main Street. For rock and roll music buffs, step back in time at the Norman and Vi Petty Rock and Roll Museum or original Norman Petty Recording Studio, where music legends including Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly recorded their biggest hits. For some good ol’ family fun, stop by the Clovis Fun Center for go-karts, mini golf, bumper boats, batting cages and paintball. Local businesses also offer rock climbing, roller skating, pottery-making, arts and crafts and more.

Explore some of the fun things to do with the family!
