CLOVIS CHAMBER UNVEILS NEW TOURISM WEBSITE

Updated: Sep 16, 2021

The Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce – Clovis’ official destination marketing organization – has launched a new tourism website (VisitClovisNM.org) to showcase local attractions, businesses and happenings in Clovis.

VisitClovisNM.org provides a refreshing design and user-friendly layout to help visitors discover activities, learn about cultural attractions in the area, view a calendar of upcoming events, and virtually explore where to stay and what to do. Created in partnership with the New Mexico Tourism Department (NMTD) and the City of Clovis Lodgers’ Tax, the new Visit Clovis website aims to strengthen the city’s online tourism presence in effort to grow visitor economy in the area, increase visitor spending, and encourage overnight stays in Clovis.

“This was a collaborative effort between these organizations that see Clovis’ potential as a worthwhile travel destination,” said Ernie Kos, executive director for the Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce. “Our goal is to offer an engaging, streamlined site for visitors to connect with local businesses and attractions, and ultimately enhance the countless experiences that can be found ‘all in Clovis.’”

Featuring compelling photos and design touches that showcase the uniqueness of Clovis as a destination, the site aims to make Clovis a recognizable option in the New Mexico tourism marketplace to ultimately enhance local experiences. The Visit Clovis identity, a sub-brand of the official Clovis brand, also stays true to the community’s commitment to welcome all into the Clovis family.

The Visit Clovis website was funded in part by the State of New Mexico Tourism Department and the City of Clovis Lodgers’ Tax. The Chamber enlisted local designer Garett Mayfield of GDM Design Studio to develop the new site. For more information, please visit VisitClovisNM.org.
